Glossary Web 3.0: The next generation of the Web; a decentralized Internet built on blockchain technology that decentralizes control and ownership of data and assets with users.  Blockchain: A permanent, verifiable means of recording transactions, as a distributed ledger technology. Blockchains are the foundation of cryptocurrencies and Web3 apps. User experience (UX): How useable and pleasant the software application is.  dApp (Decentralized App): An app that runs on a blockchain or decentralized network as opposed to a central server. Gasless Transaction: A transaction in which the user does not pay the network fee (gas) directly. Instead, the dApp or relayer pays it for them, no additional step and confusion in the UX. Session Key: A temporary key which allows a blockchain account to conduct a number of transactions without requiring user confirmation each time.
