Every Deythere article is checked before it is published. This page explains how we verify what we report.
What we verify
- Numbers: prices, market caps, fund flows, transaction values, and dates are checked against primary data sources such as exchanges, block explorers, and on-chain analytics.
- Quotes and statements: we confirm quotes against their original source, an official post, filing, interview, or verified account.
- Claims about people and companies: names, titles, and roles are verified; allegations are confirmed and, where appropriate, the subject is given a chance to respond.
- Technical claims: descriptions of how a protocol, exploit, or upgrade works are checked against documentation and, where needed, expert input.
Our process
- The writer sources each material claim and links to the evidence.
- An editor reviews the article for accuracy, sourcing, balance, and clarity before it goes live.
- Breaking news is labeled as developing and updated as facts are confirmed.
- Price-sensitive, legal, and security stories receive extra review.
Handling uncertainty
When information cannot be independently confirmed, we say so plainly and attribute it to its source rather than presenting it as established fact. We distinguish between reporting, analysis, and opinion.
