This policy explains how Deythere reports, sources, and edits its coverage of cryptocurrency and blockchain. It applies to every writer, editor, and contributor.
Independence
Our newsroom operates independently of the companies, tokens, and projects we cover. Advertisers, sponsors, and affiliate partners have no say in what we report, how we report it, or the conclusions our writers reach. No one can buy favorable coverage.
Sourcing standards
- We prioritize primary sources: regulatory filings, court documents, official company statements, on-chain data, and named experts.
- Claims about prices, flows, hacks, or holdings are backed by verifiable data and linked wherever possible.
- We attribute information to its origin and avoid reporting rumors as fact. When a story is developing or unconfirmed, we say so.
- Anonymous sources are used only when necessary, when the information is in the public interest, and when an editor has verified the source’s credibility.
Use of AI
Deythere is written and edited by people. We may use software tools to assist with research, transcription, or data analysis, but every published article is written, reviewed, and fact-checked by a human editor who is accountable for its accuracy. We do not publish unedited AI-generated text.
How we choose stories
We cover what is material to our readers: market-moving events, regulatory shifts, security incidents, and developments that change how crypto works or is used. Newsworthiness, not advertiser or partner interest, determines what we publish.
Editing and review
Articles are reviewed by an editor before publication for accuracy, clarity, sourcing, and fairness. Price-sensitive and legal/regulatory stories receive additional scrutiny. Our verification process is described in our Fact-Checking Policy.
