Accuracy matters, especially in financial reporting. When we get something wrong, we correct it openly.

How we handle corrections

  • Factual errors (names, figures, dates, quotes) are corrected as soon as they are confirmed. We add a note at the bottom of the article explaining what was changed and when.
  • Significant corrections: those that change the meaning of a story, are labeled clearly with the word “Correction” and the date.
  • Minor updates (typos, formatting, added context that does not change the facts) may be made without a formal note, though substantive additions are marked “Update.”
  • We do not silently delete or rewrite published articles to hide mistakes.

Updated timestamps

Each article shows its original publication date and, where applicable, a “last updated” date so readers can see when it was changed.

Request a correction

If you believe an article contains an error, email [email protected] with the article link and the specific point you’re disputing, along with any supporting sources. We review every request and respond. Verified errors are corrected quickly.

Right of reply

If you or your organization is the subject of a story and believe it is inaccurate or unfair, contact us. We will review the facts and, where warranted, update the article or add your response.
