Real Vision’s lead crypto analyst Jamie Coutts suggests Bitcoin could rally over 155% from its current levels during this market cycle.
Various Price Scenarios
In a recent interview with Raoul Pal on The Journey Man YouTube channel, Coutts proposed that, with the rising global money supply, Bitcoin could break into six-digit territory. He explored several scenarios for Bitcoin’s future price movement and offered insight into potential outcomes.
Expected Price Targets and Probabilities
Taking the global M2 money supply into account, Coutts predicts that Bitcoin may reach around $100,000 by August 2025, though he sees this as a less likely outcome. Instead, he considers a target of $170,000 more probable.
Coutts outlined four main price targets for Bitcoin, each with varying probabilities:
- $100,000 with a 15% probability,
- $170,335 with a 60% probability,
- $234,000 with a 20% probability, and
- $500,000 with only a 5% probability.
“I don’t believe Bitcoin will reach a parabolic high of $500,000 this cycle,” Coutts clarified. “However, it’s not impossible in the long term.”
As of this writing, Bitcoin trades at $67,100, and Coutts’ projections suggest these targets could be realized within the next two and a half years. If achieved, Bitcoin’s market cap could soar to approximately $3.75 trillion by August 2025.
For Bitcoin investors, these forecasts may serve as key reference points amid market fluctuations, though the volatility of crypto markets necessitates caution.
